For those of you who just happened to come across this blog and have no idea who I am, let me introduce myself.  Growing up, I was always interested in 2 things: sports and travel.  During college, I tried to combine both of these interests by going on a study abroad in Italy (and never wanting to come home) and then choosing Sports Medicine as my major.  After a few years working as an Athletic Trainer in the high school setting, I decided to leave the comforts of home and the world of taping ankles to take a leap of faith and pursue my dreams of traveling the world-I figured it was now or never!  Teaching English as a foreign language was the best way to travel and have the opportunity to really experience new cultures while also earning a paycheck!  Once I got my TEFL Certification, it was time to hit the road starting with Ecuador.
